Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Huntley, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 17,300-square-foot playground / park / athletic field.
Huntley Park District will receive sealed bids for a Shingle Roof Replacement Contract on occupied Park District buildings with a total area of approximately 17,300 square feet. All bids must be on a Lump Sum basis; Unit and Time/Material pricing are required for repair of latent defects. Work on the Deicke Building must proceed on May 22, 2026 and be completed by June 13, 2026. Work on Stingray Bay must be completed by May 15, 2026 and within the consecutive business days stated on the Bid Form. Only prequalified bidders may receive documents, and prequalification consists of providing affidavits confirming continuous and successful operation in the same trade under the same name for the previous five years. Bid Security of 10 percent of the Bid is required. The Contract includes a prevailing wage provision. The Owner reserves discretion to waive informalities, reject any or all Bids, select the Bid in the Park District's best interests, or rebid or cancel the Project. No costs incurred in replying to the bid will be reimbursed. Up to two sets of Bidding Documents may be obtained with a deposit, refundable under stated conditions.
