Renovation of a detention facility in Galt, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.

Roof Repair Services at R.A. McGee Correctional Address:9850 Twin Cities Road, Galt, CA 95632 The Contractor shall provide all operators, labor, materials, equipment, licenses/permits, transportation, travel, per diem and every other item or expense necessary to provide Roof Repair Services on L Building, at the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), R.A. McGee Correctional Training Center (CTC), located at 9850 Twin Cities Road, Galt, CA 95632. Only Small Business (SB) bidders are eligible to participate. End Date: 365 Days Gutter Repair: The Contractor shall set up necessary fall protection equipment. Remove existing gravel, stop metal preventing water from flowing freely towards gutter. Install new edge metal flush to existing edge metal. Prime and seal edge metal with extreme loading for structures (ELS) prior to nailing in place. Tie in edge metal flange conducting a three-course application using Burmesh and ELS. Flood new repair with gravel, and remove any debris, equipment, and material associated with the roofing repair. Field Repair: Evidence of roof leakage has been noted inside the building. The exact point of water entry has not been established. Contractor shall inspect the roof, identify the source(s) of the leak, and perform the repairs to prevent further water intrusion. All roof repairs will be guaranteed by the Contractor to prevent any future leakage. Set up necessary fall protection equipment. Scrape off existing gravel over the repair area and set aside to be reused. Remove existing repairs down to the deck. Inspect the deck for severe damage and replace if needed. Adhere two plies in power ply endure adhesive overlapping 12 inches minimum. Adhere cap sheet in power ply endure adhesive. Tie in new repair to the field conducting a three-course application using Burmesh and ELS. Flood new repair with gravel. Remove any debris, equipment, and material associated with the roofing repair. The Contractor shall proceed with roofing work only when existing and forecasted weather conditions permit work to be performed in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and warranty requirements. The Contractor shall keep the building roof covered in watertight conditions until the work is completed. The Contractor is financially responsible for rain damage or any damage to the building and worksite during the roofing process.
