A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Sealed proposals will be received for the following: single asphalt coat, in place seal (296 S.Y.), double asphalt seal coat, in place (22,786 S.Y.), single asphalt seal coat, in place with slag aggregate (296 S.Y.), and double asphalt seal coat, in place with slag aggregate (22,786 S.Y.). Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $975.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided by the Municipality. For third class cities, the bid must include a certified check or bid bond amounting to 10% of the bid, payable to the municipality. Performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract must be provided by the successful bidder within 20 days of contract award. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
