Work that will fall under the vendor contracted comprises of replacing the existing 2,500 gallon underground diesel storage tank with a new 1,800 gallon above ground diesel storage tank that will be used to power the Hatchery's backup power generator and fill hatchery vehicles. The following items shall be included in this scope of work. 1. The existing underground diesel storage tank shall be emptied, cleaned, abandoned in place, and filled using an inert clean material such as sand, concrete slurry, or foam. 2. All connections between the existing underground storage tank and the diesel generator shall be removed. Any remnant pipe stubs shall be capped. 3. The new above ground diesel storage tank shall be placed on the existing concrete pad on top of the existing underground storage tank and all required piping, venting, leak detection systems, alarms and connections to the existing diesel generator shall be installed. 4. A truck fuel fill shall be included with the new above ground storage tank for filling hatchery vehicles.
