The project consists of improvements at River Street & Visser Street. The approximate quantities of major items of work are as follows: 1,640 feet of water main, DI, CL 53, 8 inch, including sand subbase; 425 feet of storm sewer, CIPP liner, 24 inch; 460 feet of sanitary sewer, CIPP liner, 21 inch; manholes, catch basins, valves, hydrants, fittings, restoration, and all appurtenant work. Bids will be accepted on the basis of unit prices as listed on the bid form and may only be submitted using the e-bidding system. All proposals shall be made in accordance with the bidding documents. A proposal guarantee payable to the Village of Spring Lake, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, must accompany the proposal in accordance with the information for bidders. The right is reserved by the Village of Spring Lake to accept any proposal, reject any or all proposals, and to waive informalities in bidding when it is deemed to be in the interest of the Village of Spring Lake. Only bidders who have been prequalified by the Village of Spring Lake within the required days in advance of the bid opening in accordance with the Information for Bidders section will have their bids opened and read. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to the Engineer. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents Question Deadline 03/06/2026
