Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Parkland, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The project involves the fabrication and installation of four (4) fabric shade structures for the Pine Trails Park Basketball Court Bleacher area. The work includes all labor, materials, equipment, applicable permits, licenses, insurance, and supervision necessary to complete the project as specified. Type of Award Lump Sum License Requirements Florida General Contractor License Liquidated Damages 215.00 / day Project Duration 60 days PreBid: Attendance at the pre-submittal conference is encouraged, but attendance is not mandatory. Interested bidders may visit the project site during regular park hours which are 7:00 a.m. to Sunset. The City will not be held responsible for an incorrect price proposal due to Proposer's misunderstanding of requirements, measurements, or services required. This information session presents an opportunity for the Bidders to ask questions regarding the solicitation requirements and clarify any information about the scope of work. No modification or changes will be allowed because of the failure of the Proposer to review all available information or attend the pre-submittal conference. At a minimum, this work shall include: 5.2.1 Removal of 8' sidewalk and existing concrete slab to be replaced with 5'-6" sidewalk. 5.2.2 Development and provision of engineered shop drawings for specified structure or approved equal. 5.2.3 Fabrication, delivery, and installation of the shade structure system for coverage of spectator bleacher areas for four (4) structures. 5.2.4 Provide layouts for all posts which must be installed on engineered foundations per manufacturer. 5.2.5 Contractor is responsible for all safety measures for the site from the time the Notice to Proceed is issued until the City accepts the finished project in writing. 5.2.6 Contractor is responsible for cleaning the site each day to remove debris and items that may be safety hazards and keep the site tidy. 5.2.7 Contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and following all Federal, State, and local requirements, standards, regulations and codes for all work under this contract. 5.2.8 Contractorisresponsible for obtaining and maintaining all underground locates necessary for this work in accordance with all State and local regulations. 5.2.9 Contractor shall select one access path for the site (to be approved by the City) and shall be responsible for complete restoration upon completion including, but not limited to, repair or replacement of irrigation, sod, sidewalks, curbs, trees and/or other plants and any other items damaged by Contractors' vendors, subcontractors, employees, representatives, etc. to the City's satisfaction. 5.2.10 The Park shall be open during construction hours. To that end, Contractor shall place temporary fencing with fabric windscreen around work area and implement any other necessary safety precautions to secure the construction area as may be determined by the City. 5.2.11 The work completed under this Contract shall begin immediately after the Contractors receive a fully executed Contract. 5.2.12 All work is to be conducted Monday-Friday (except holidays) from 7:30 AM-5:00 PM. 5.2.13 All work shall be substantially completed within 45 consecutive calendar days and final completion within 60 consecutive calendar days of notice to proceed.
