Demolition, site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Burnaby, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a four-story above grade, 51-unit multi-residential development.

The project includes the demolition of three (3) existing motel buildings, currently accommodating a below market rental program, and the construction of a 51-unit Supportive Housing development. The proposed building will be a four (4)-storey wood frame building, with parking and outdoor amenities at grade. No underground structures are proposed. Supportive housing provides subsidized housing with on-site supports for single adults, seniors and people with disabilities at risk of or experiencing homelessness. These supports help people find and maintain stable housing. The building will include amenity areas required for Supportive Housing, such as a commercial kitchen, providing on-site food services for tenants, dining and lounge areas, shared laundry, and offices/administration spaces. The exact programming of the building will be determined through consultation with BC Housing Operations and qualified operator. Unit types include 48 adaptable studio suites, and three (3) accessible studio suites. Owner requires that all interested parties sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in order to access the plans and specs for this project.
