The ACSD Synthetic Turf Conversion - Baseball/Softball project consists of the construction and renovation of baseball and softball facilities at both Ankeny High School and Ankeny Centennial High School. Work includes the conversion to synthetic turf and expansion of existing bullpens, replacement of turf within existing batting cages, and installation of new and upgraded fencing systems. Bidders are required to submit bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid. Minority and Targeted Small Business participation is encouraged. Bidders shall make a good faith documented effort to encourage the participation of Certified Iowa Targeted Small Business in accordance with the Code of Iowa. By statutory authority, preference will be given to products and provisions grown and/or produced within the State of Iowa, and preference will be given to Iowa domestic labor as provided in the Code of Iowa.
