Site work and new construction of an industrial development in Prospect Heights, Illinois. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a industrial development.
The work consists of, but is not limited to, the new construction of a garage for the LCC Forklift Garage Storage Facility, including civil work, concrete work, masonry work, miscellaneous carpentry, doors, electrical, mechanical, and roofing. Lump sum bid proposals will be received for this project. Bidders are to furnish all necessary labor, equipment, and material for the facility. Bid security in the form of a bid bond equal to 10 percent of the aggregate of the base bid and all alternate bid amounts must be submitted with the bid. Performance, labor, and material payment bonds, and a certificate of insurance, will be required from the successful bidder. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety days after submission without the consent of the Board of Trustees. All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois law, including prevailing wage and Equal Employment Opportunity laws, and must comply with the Business Enterprise Program with 20% participation and utilization developed by Harper College. Bidders shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act. Bids must be submitted via the designated Dropbox link. Harper College reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informality in bidding procedures, and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the college.
