Remodeling of an educational facility in San Rafael, California. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.

Sealed bids are requested for the Marin County Office of Education Flooring 2026 Project. Bids must be completed on the provided Bid Proposal Form and be fully responsive to this invitation, the plans, specifications, and all contract documents. A bid guarantee of at least ten percent (10%) of the maximum bid must accompany each submission. The successful bidder must comply with the Labor Code concerning prevailing wage rates and apprenticeships, ensuring all workers are paid at least the specified rates. Contractors and subcontractors are required to comply with prevailing wage requirements for all workers employed for the project. The schedule of per diem wages is based on an eight-hour day, with overtime and holiday rates at a minimum of time and one half. Substitution of appropriate securities instead of retention amounts from progress payments is allowed. Each bid must list subcontractors performing more than one-half of one percent (1/2 of 1%) of the bid price and describe their work. Bids cannot be withdrawn for 60 days after the bid opening, except as provided by law. The right to reject any and all bids and waive informalities is reserved. Minority, women, and disabled veteran contractors are encouraged to submit bids. Each bidder must have a California State Contractor's B License at the time of award. Attendance at a mandatory bidders' conference is required, with failure to attend resulting in bid disqualification.
