The project involves relocating existing emergency generators and installing an additional emergency generator at the Hato Rey Federal Campus. Work includes installing an underground fuel oil tank, relocating the main domestic and fire service lines, and demolishing and decommissioning above-ground fuel oil tanks and the existing generator building. All construction activities must be performed while the Campus remains fully operational, with most work occurring after business hours to avoid disruption to Government operations. The General Contractor must comply with access and security requirements and complete the project in accordance with construction drawings, specifications, GSA PBS Interim Building Standards, Building Information Modeling (BIM), the U.S. Courts Design Guide, and Publication 64. The anticipated contract will have an estimated duration of eighteen months and an estimated construction value between $20,000,000 and $25,000,000.
