Renovation of a mixed-use development in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS) requires a complete upgrade of its existing camera infrastructure with a new Video Assessment Surveillance System (VASS) to enhance physical security and improve operations at the Security Control Center (SCC). The VASS will provide expanded surveillance coverage, upgraded monitoring software, and advanced analytics tools, including license plate readers, facial recognition cameras, and visual/audible alarm notifications integrated with SCC monitoring. All site cameras will include battery backup for power failure scenarios. The contractor shall perform all work in accordance with construction drawings and specifications prepared by an independent Architect-Engineer firm and complete the project within 1,095 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Location: VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS), San Juan, Puerto Rico. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time. Offerors may submit questions via email to ana.alvarado@va.gov at any time; however, questions received after 03/23/2026 @ 3:30 PM (AST) may not be answered.
