The purpose of this amendment is to update the statement of work. No other changes were made. Combined synopsis/solicitation Social Security Administration (SSA), Condenser Pipe Leak and Valve Replacement located at 6401 Security Boulevard, Baltimore, Maryland 21235. This is a full and open competition. This is NOT set aside for small business. This project involves the removal and replacement of designated sections of condenser water piping and associated components within the RMB Plant. The scope includes the replacement of a 10" bypass line and a 14" pipe section with a pinhole leak, as well as related valves, flanges, drains, vents, and hardware. 1. 10" Bypass Line Replacement o Remove and dispose of approximately 3 feet of existing 10" steel pipe. o Furnish and install 3 feet of new 10" steel pipe. o Remove and replace two (2) existing 10" flanges with new flanges. o Remove and replace one (1) existing 10" isolation butterfly valve with a new highperformance, gear-operated valve that is compatible with the existing Bray valve actuator. o Weld all pipe joints in accordance with applicable codes and standards. o Remove and replace all existing flange and valve bolts with new hardware. o Retain the existing 10" Bray control valve; install new bolts on the replacement flange side to ensure proper sealing and connection. 2. 14" Pipe Replacement (Pinhole Leak) o Remove and dispose of approximately 10 feet of existing 14" steel pipe. o Furnish and install 10 feet of new 14" steel pipe. o Remove and replace two (2) existing 14" flanges with new flanges. o Remove and replace one (1) existing 14" isolation butterfly valve with a new with a new high-performance, gear-operated valve that is compatible with the existing Bray valve actuator. o Remove and replace one (1) 2" drain assembly, including ball valve and cap. o Remove and replace one (1) 3/4 " vent assembly located on the top of the pipe, including ball valve and cap. o Weld all pipe joints in accordance with applicable codes and standards. o Remove and replace all existing flange and valve bolts with new hardware. o Retain the existing 14" Bray control valve; install new bolts on the replacement flange side to ensure proper sealing and connection. All work must be completed within 45 days after the Notice to Proceed (OAG).
