Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Gretna, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 16,500-square-foot educational facility.

The Board of Education of Gretna Public School District is requesting bids from qualified vendors/contractors to provide roof restoration services at Gretna Middle School, located at 11705 S 216th St, Gretna, NE. The project scope includes approximately 16,500 square feet of roofing surface to be recovered/replaced, which will include the removal of all demolished materials, installation of a new Carlisle membrane, and other details as described in the project specifications and project documents, available at the pre-bid conference. Interested, qualified Tier 1 contractors are invited to submit two copies of a sealed bid for the requested scope of work. Sealed bids must be received at the Gretna Public Schools' Administrative Office at 11717 S 216th St, Gretna, NE 68028, no later than 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 6, 2026. Bids may be delivered in person, via United States Mail, or parcel service; any bids delivered after the deadline will be returned unopened and will not be eligible for consideration. The school district reserves the right to reject any and all proposals not deemed in the best interests of the District, and to cancel or amend the request for bids and contract documents at any time.
