The project is expected to be awarded on May 2026** This work shall include procurement and installation of approximately 610 feet of perimeter security fence as further detailed in Appendix D at the SAWPA Building at 11615 Sterling Avenue, Riverside, CA 92503. The perimeter security fence will match existing security fencing style but exceed existing material strength and be installed adjacent to or replacing CalTrans and Riverside County Flood Control fencing. A cost shall be provided for each option with the difference in permitting considered. Project Overview SAWPA seeks proposals from qualified Contractors to furnish and install approximately 610 feet of high-security perimeter fence comprised of wrought iron (or similar) on the northern and southern alignments of its property at 11615 Sterling Avenue, Riverside CA 92503. New fencing is to match existing security fencing in aesthetics and exceed existing wrought iron fence in strength and durability to inhibit trespassing and vandalism. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, engineering, permitting, testing, commissioning, and training necessary for a complete and operational system in compliance with all applicable codes and standards. B. Existing Infrastructure 1. Frontage: Existing Wrought iron fence and gates facing Sterling Avenue. 2. Perimeters: Existing chain link fencing on the north and south sides owned by CalTrans and Riverside County Flood Control District (RCFCD). 3. Site Conditions: Existing landscaping and trees along both northern and southern property line. The Notice to Proceed is anticipated in late April.
