The work includes providing labor, materials, equipment, miscellaneous items, and supervision necessary to remove loose paint, clean the existing pool surface, and prepare existing surfaces for additional coatings at the rectangular pool and the zero-depth pool. This includes concrete blasting, application of epoxy primer and two coats of epoxy paint to both pools, painting of racing lane lines, targets, depth indicators, and perimeter pool markings and bollards. The painted surface is approximately 17,000 square feet. All work at the pool cannot begin before September 14, 2026, and must be substantially completed by October 23, 2026. Bidders must submit proposals on the forms furnished with the specifications. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond from a company authorized to do business in Wisconsin, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal. If submitting an electronic bid, the original bid bond must be delivered within 72 hours of bid opening. Bids will be accepted via QuestCDN vBid online service or by sealed paper copy. Digital project bidding documents are available at the indicated websites for a nonrefundable charge. Project documents must be downloaded from QuestCDN to be added to the Plan Holder List and for vBid access. All official notifications, addenda, and other relevant information will be provided only through the designated website. Proposals may not be withdrawn for 60 days after opening. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities.
