Sealed bids/quotes are being solicited electronically via the PennBid Program for various road construction equipment rental with operator's services from contractors or vendors. The work involves performing routine or emergency roadway and/or storm sewer system maintenance or repairs in accordance with the provided Request for Quote and Contract Documents/Specifications. The bids must be submitted online via the PennBid system using the prescribed forms. The Township reserves the right to waive any informality in, and/or reject any or all bids/proposals if, in their judgement, it is not in the best interests of the Township. Bids/proposals will be rejected if quote prices are unbalanced. The lowest bid/proposal will be determined by the average cost of equipment/operator bid upon. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security made payable to the Owner in an amount and form specified in the Instructions to Bidders, Section 10-7, as a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety.
