As of April 21, 2026, this project has been awarded.** Separate sealed bids are requested for the Water System Improvements - 2025 project, which generally consists of: mobilization; installation of 12,708 LF of 12" C900 PVC water mains; 2,985 LF of 8" C900 PVC water mains; 298 LF of 6" C900 PVC water mains; 93 LF of 4" C900 PVC water mains; 129 LF of 12" HDPE water mains by directional drilling; 217 LF of 24" steel casing pipe with 12" C900 PVC carrier water main by bore and jack; 90 LF of 16" steel casing pipe with 8" C900 PVC carrier water main by bore and jack; installation of 17 12", 1 10", 14 8", 11 6", and 3 4" gate valves and riser boxes; 14 3/4", 5 1", and 1 2" water service taps; 293 LF of 3/4" service line; 450 LF of 1" service line; 35 LF of 2" service line; 4 meter pits assemblies with connection to existing water service lines; removal and salvage of 2 fire hydrants; installation of 11 fire hydrant assemblies; 14 connections to existing water distribution system mains (4" to 12"); 100 LF of flowable fill around new water mains; 1 flowable fill installation under utilities; 42 locking mini tracer wire test boxes; 61 carsonite marker posts; 2,154 SY of 6" hot mix asphalt pavement in three lifts over 6" aggregate base course; 3,454 SF of 6" concrete replacement over 4" ABC; 19 SF of 4" concrete replacement over 4" ABC; 18 LF concrete curb and gutter over 4" ABC; 500 LF of 4" wide solid white pavement paint markings; 2 6" steel bollards; non-irrigated grass seeding; obtaining necessary permits and stormwater management plan; demobilization; together with all appurtenances and incidentals of construction. A certified check, bank draft, or satisfactory Bid Bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with the Bid. Not less than the minimum salaries and wages as specified in the Contract Documents must be paid for this project, with compliance to non-discrimination requirements. Funding is from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment's Drinking Water Revolving Fund and the Colorado Department of Local Affairs' Energy/Mineral Impact Assistance Fund. Requirements associated include Davis-Bacon wages and American Iron and Steel requirements. The current applicable Davis-Bacon Wage Decision applies. Bidders should refer to SRF requirements in the bid package for further details regarding these and other requirements. Any planholder returning hard copies of the contract documents in good condition within 30 days of bid opening will be refunded $40.00.
