The City is seeking a licensed, insured, and bonded contractor for the Forks Industrial Park Manufacturing Building Ceiling Insulation Project. The work includes applying approximately 22,000 square feet of conventional R-15 (or higher equivalent) batt/fiberglass insulation to building slopes where insulation is removed or missing and removing all insulation debris with a thorough clean-up of the work site. All work must be scheduled around the current tenant's timeline for lumber mill equipment installations. The contractor must supply all necessary equipment and materials, as none will be provided by the City. Proof of payment of state prevailing wage is required at project closeout. A performance bond is required, or the contractor may agree to the City retaining an additional 10% over the usual 5% retainage, both to be released upon project completion, acceptance, and acknowledgement of payment of applicable taxes and wages. Bid prices must include all costs for materials, equipment, taxes, and labor at prevailing wage rates. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, and all bids are subject to the City's reservation of rights, including rejection of any or all bids. No bid bond is required.
