The City of Merced (City) is soliciting proposals for the scope of work described herein representing engineering design and management services for a proposed municipal water supply well located on the proposed Vigina Smith Trust Subdivision off Lake Road near UC Merced. The scope of work includes engineering design and management services for a proposed municipal water supply well located in the Virgina Smith Trust Subdivision off Lake Road near UC Merced. The project involves installing a new municipal water production well, approximately 10,500 feet of 16-inch watermain from Yosemite Avenue to Bellevue Road, and approximately 6,000 feet of 16-inch watermain from the proposed well site to Lake Road along a future subdivision road. The work includes all labor, materials, and equipment for the design and construction management of the proposed municipal well and watermain installation. Tasks include: - Obtaining appropriate permits, site survey, site preparation, test borehole drilling, collecting drill cuttings, preparing a driller's log, laboratory analysis of water samples, and preparing a summary report. - Designing and developing bidding plans and specifications for municipal well drilling and construction, as well as for the pump station and watermain installation.
