Bids are to be submitted for the construction contract as per the contract documents, drawings, and specifications available electronically from the designated architect or on the specified website. The lowest bid will determine the contract award. This is a public works project and is subject to prevailing wage requirements. Contractors and subcontractors for projects over $25,000 must be currently registered and qualified to perform public work under the relevant Labor Code sections, and proof of registration must be provided. The contract duration is 105 calendar days, split into milestones: 14 days for foundation excavation, an additional 50 days for utilities, and a further 41 days to complete the project. Liquidated damages for delay will apply. Bids must be sealed and submitted at the district office by the designated time; faxed bids will not be accepted.
