Marion County Schools is requesting bids from qualified vendors for digital locks and battery backups. The digital locks should cover a minimum of 200 interior classroom and gymnasium doors and include a master key, master fob, remote locking and identification, wireless access, override features, remote monitoring, preferably a deadbolt system, and a central point of control. Vendors should provide a price per quantity for potential additional units. Battery backups are required to provide power to door controls, alarms, phones, and CCTV cameras across 21 schools. Vendors should submit sealed bids as specified. Marion County Schools reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals, to reject or accept any and/or all items in a proposal, and to award the contract in whole or in part as deemed in their best interest.
