The work shall primarily consist of the construction of a new lift station, including the installation of new concrete wet wells, new gate and check valves, lids, and other upgrades. Bids must be submitted on standard forms contained within the contract documents provided by the Engineer. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check or a Bidder’s Bond from a Surety Company licensed in the State of Mississippi, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid price as bid security. The successful bidder will be required to submit a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Bids are to be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked as Bay St. Louis Lift Station Repairs Project along with the Certificate of Responsibility Number. Bids may be deposited at the designated address or submitted online through the project page. No oral, telegraphic, telephonic, or email proposals will be considered. An acknowledged received copy of all Addenda issued must be included with the bid proposal. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty days after the date of the bid opening without the Owner's consent. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all informalities. The contract will be funded in part by the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality through the Mississippi Municipality and County Water Infrastructure Grant Program and will require compliance with all program regulations and requirements. Work must be performed in accordance with all Federal, State, and Local Regulations and Codes.
