Site work and paving for a road / highway in Chillicothe, Ohio. Completed plans call for paving for a road / highway; and road / highway.
Sealed bids are invited for various county road repairs, including paving, milling, and pavement marking in Ross County. The project is managed by the Ross County Engineer. Bidders can obtain bid proposals and specifications at the office of the Ross County Engineer. Each bidder must submit a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond according to Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, with the bond issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in Ohio. The project will use both local and OPWC Loan Funds. All work must be completed by October 17, 2026. Prevailing wage rates as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour, must be paid. The 2023 Construction and Material Specifications of the State of Ohio Department of Transportation apply. Bidders must comply with Section 153.59 of the Revised Code on discrimination. The Board of Commissioners may reject any or all bids and waive irregularities.
