Site work, paving and new construction of a warehouse / distribution facility in Cairo, Georgia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 20,000-square-foot warehouse / distribution facility.

The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct the Proposed Phase 2: 20,000 S.F. Industrial Spec Building as shown on the construction drawings. Construction generally includes a new 20,000 S.F. building shell, loading dock, grading, sanitary sewer construction, storm drain installation, concrete and asphalt paving improvements, erosion control, and all associated measures for the complete project. Time allotted for completion is 270 consecutive calendar days to substantial completion, with completion and contract close-out required within 284 consecutive calendar days. All work must be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications, and the work will be awarded in one contract. All base and pavement work must be performed by a GDOT approved Sub-Contractor, and all water and sanitary sewer improvements must be performed by a licensed Utility Contractor by the State of Georgia. License numbers must be written on the face of the bid envelope, and no bid will be opened unless the license number is clearly shown. Prequalification may be required, and supporting documentation regarding qualifications may be requested. All bids must include a Bid Bond or certified cashier's check of at least ten percent of the bid amount. The awarded contractor must provide Performance and Payment Bonds, each for 100% of the contract amount. All contractors and subcontractors must comply with the federal work authorization program E-Verify and submit the required affidavit. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or re-advertise as needed.
