The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct the proposed FY 2026 LRA Resurfacing & Patching Project as shown on the construction drawings. In general, the project consists of widening and resurfacing Wilcox Road, Meridian Road, and Lewis Road; resurfacing Leonard Drive; and all associated measures for the complete project. Any Contractor submitting a bid must be a pre-qualified Georgia Department of Transportation Contractor. Time allotted for completion of work is 180 consecutive calendar days to substantial completion. Work shall be complete and ready for contract close-out with 194 consecutive calendar days. All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a certified cashiers check in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount Docs notes : Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Grady County Board of Commissioners, 33 17th Ave NW, Cairo, GA 39827, or at the Office of the Engineer at Watkins & Associates, LLC, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Upon receipt of the required payment, Watkins & Associates, LLC will transmit the digital Bidding Documents by electronic download link. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids and to reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that Bidder
