Sealed quotes are requested for the crushing of approximately 15-20,000 cubic yards of ¾ inch crushed road gravel to be crushed and stockpiled on site at SE 20-25-16-W2. Bidders are responsible for inspecting the site to determine the nature of the aggregate to be crushed. Screening may be required; a separate price for screening and stripping should be included. The stockpile will be measured for quantity by a third party. Each quote must include: a copy of a letter of good standing with WCB, proof of public liability and property damage insurance in the minimum amount of two million dollars ($2,000,000.00), an expected start and finish date, and a breakdown of all costs associated with the crush. Sealed quotes are to be submitted; no faxed or emailed quotes will be accepted. Quotes will be evaluated based on price, estimated completion date, and previous experience with the contractor. The council reserves the right to reject or accept any quote; the lowest quote is not necessarily accepted.
