The Santa Cruz County Department of Community Development and Infrastructure, Recycling and Solid Waste Services invites sealed proposals for Organics and Select Construction and Demolition Debris Services from fully licensed, insured, bonded, certified contractors. The scope includes furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals required to provide organics (food scraps, yard trimmings, and wood waste) and construction & demolition (C&D) debris (sheetrock, C&D wood, lumber, pallets, and spools) receiving, transportation, and processing services for Santa Cruz County. Services will be provided at two disposal site facilities: the Buena Vista Landfill and the Ben Lomond Transfer Station, which primarily serve the population of unincorporated Santa Cruz County and include municipal solid waste disposal and recycling programs.
