Sealed bids are requested for supplying, delivering, and planting specified trees at various locations for the 2026 spring season. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, marked "SEALED BID FOR TREE DELIVERY AND PLANTING VARIOUS LOCATIONS PUR2026-01." Specifications and proposal forms can be obtained from the Purchasing Office or the city's website. Minority Participation Goals apply: ten percent of the total contract dollar amount should be performed by Minority Business Enterprises or spent on goods, materials, or equipment from such enterprises, either separately or in combination, and eighteen percent of total hours worked should be performed by minority workers. Contractors must provide evidence of compliance or documentation of good faith effort with these goals. The Council reserves the right to accept, renegotiate, or reject any or all proposals and waive variances from bidder instructions, and to award the contract at its discretion. Compliance with the Illinois Human Rights Act is required.
