Sealed bids are being accepted for the contracted mowing of Spring Hill Cemetery for the specified mowing seasons. The mowing season runs from April 1st through October 31st of each year. The contractor is expected to mow the grass to a height of 3.5 inches once a week, except in adverse weather conditions. Trimming around headstones, trees, shrubs, etc. is to be performed twice per month, and grass clippings must be cleared from headstones after trimming. Cleaning out the cemetery grounds is to occur five times per year at specified times during the season. The contractor is required to provide proof of liability insurance with $1,000,000.00 coverage prior to the season. Bids should include the bidder’s name, address, phone number, and the total bid amount for each year. The bidder will be required to sign a contract agreeing to all terms. The right to refuse or deny any bid is reserved.
