Bid forms, contracts, and specifications are to be obtained from Remington & Vernick Engineers, and payment must be received prior to obtaining these documents. Bids must be prepared on the provided form, enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the bidder's name, address, and the reference to the particular work bid upon. Each bid must include a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid, not exceeding $20,000.00, and be accompanied by a certificate from a surety company stating it will provide a completion bond. Compliance with state and federal regulations, including Affirmative Action, the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Public Works Contractor Registration Act, and business registration requirements, is mandatory for both contractors and subcontractors.
