Renovation of a library in Seattle, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
UW Seismic Improvements Phase 5A, Suzzallo Library. Bid Package Group 8 includes 9.1 Plaster and Framing (Engineer's Estimate Base Bid: $300,000) and 9.2 Painting (Engineer's Estimate Base Bid: $40,000). Sealed bids will be received for these packages. All rules for public bidding must be followed. Bids must be submitted as indicated in the instructions to bidders. Faxed bids, bids not on the proper bid form, and bids that do not fulfill the requirements of the instructions to bidders cannot be accepted. All bids shall remain valid for a period of 90 days. A bid bond in the amount of 0% of the base bid is required for all bids exceeding $300,000. All trade partners awarded a contract over $300,000 must provide a performance and payment bond for the contract amount. Trade contractors must recognize union agreements with Carpenters, Laborers, Cement Masons, and Operating Engineers.
