Notice to Bidders: Qualified bidders may submit bids for the CRCSD 2026-27 Fire Alarm Upgrade at Taft Middle School. The project consists of upgrades to the existing Fire Alarm system throughout the building. The project cost is anticipated to be under $465,000.00. Bids are to be submitted according to the Instructions to Bidders. Bids will be received for a General Contract (all trades). Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount is required and completed bid bonds must be scanned and uploaded as attachments during the bid submission. Bidders shall provide performance, labor, and material payment bonds, as well as insurance in a form acceptable to the owner. Contractors must be properly licensed, able to obtain required insurance and bonds, and submit a statement of residency status. No sales tax should be included on the bid form.
