Preference will be given to products and provisions grown and coal produced within the State of Iowa, and to Iowa domestic labor, as required by law. The work on the improvement is to begin immediately upon contract approval by the Council and be completed as specified. Instructions are provided regarding where to obtain documents, bid submission procedures, and legal preferences for materials and labor. Project number is 125.0108.09 and is located on Davis Avenue from 6th Street to 8th Street and various sidewalk improvements in various locations within the City of Corning, IA. The project includes reconstruction of the sidewalks including new intersection nodes, lighting, street signs, storm sewer, and any other miscellaneous items needed during construction. Contractorshall fully complete the project in 90 working days. The late start date shall be June 1, 2026.
