Sealed bids are requested for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to install a rain cover over a portion of the open area of Muscatine Power and Water's monofill. The scope of work includes: mobilizing the site; establishing the work area perimeter and straw wattle; completing final grading of CCR to create a smooth, properly drained surface for liner placement; excavating anchor trenches; installing a skrim-reinforced plastic liner; installing and verifying the WindDefender anchor system; grading backfilled anchor trenches and related disturbed ground; placing topsoil over disturbed areas that were vegetated at mobilization; and applying seed and erosion control blanket. Bidders are instructed to ensure bids are submitted by the designated time, as late bids will not be considered. Work must adhere to the provided bid documents, and a pre-bid meeting is scheduled for bidders to discuss the project and access the work site, with proper PPE required.
