Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Richwood, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The City of Richwood is accepting bids for the demolition and removal of four structures within the city in Nicholas County, West Virginia. Bidders must ensure they have all appropriate licenses and meet all qualifications required by the statutes of the State of West Virginia, the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection Dilapidated Properties Program, and the City of Richwood. A Performance Bond or irrevocable letter of credit for 100 percent of the contract price is required. Any necessary asbestos abatements are included in the demolition contract, and subcontracting for this work is permitted. Bidders must submit an individual bid price for each structure in addition to the total bid, in case deductive alternates are needed. The contract will be awarded to the lowest comprehensive bidder. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. No bid may be withdrawn for thirty days after opening. Bidders must certify they meet all licensing and qualification requirements.
