Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Elizabethton, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Sealed bids are invited for construction projects in accordance with the most current version of the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction and the Standard Roadway and Structures Drawings of the Tennessee Department of Transportation. Only the Special Provisions contained within the applicable Proposal Contract will be considered binding. All bid proposals are required to include a unit price for each item, and these must be extended, sub-totaled, and shown as a grand total. All entries must be made in ink. Bidders may only withdraw a proposal upon written request as governed by the Tennessee Department of Transportation Standard Specifications. The City of Elizabethton may reject any or all proposals, waive technicalities, or advertise for new proposals if deemed in the best interest of the City, subject to TDOT concurrence. Total bids, not unit prices, will be read aloud, and no award will be made until bids and extensions are checked. The awarding of contracts for projects financed with Federal or TDOT funds is subject to approval by the Tennessee Department of Transportation. All inquiries related to the Proposal Contract, Plans, Specifications, or Special Provisions must be directed to McGill Associates, PA.
