As of April 01, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. The Authority intends to award a fixed price contract to the company with the lowest responsive and responsible bid for furnishing all materials, equipment, labor, and supervision required to complete the work as set out in the request for bid and contract documents. The general scope of work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor and materials for the replacement or repair of all water damaged flooring, walls, ceilings, electrical, light fixtures, plumbing, HVAC, door and door hardware, windows, and attachment components as detailed in the plans and specifications. The project is located at McMillian Manor I, 4503-4541 McMillan Ave., St. Louis, MO, and the anticipated performance period is 90 days. Retail sales tax should not be included in bid quotes; a tax letter will be provided to the successful bidder. Bidders must register as planholders to download project documents. Bids may be submitted electronically or by hand-delivery. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities or irregularities, and proceed as determined to be in its best interest. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is strongly encouraged but not mandatory. The work is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and administered by the St. Louis Housing Authority. HUD reserves the right to approve the contractor selected by the Authority.
