Site work and paving for a road / highway in Viroqua, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The Vernon County Highway Department will take bids on full depth milling of existing asphaltic surface on CTH F(BIA Funding) and CTH PC for a total of 4.79 miles. Price pulverizing per mile. The existing asphaltic surface will be pulverized in full depth and reduced to a maximum size of two inches. The bid should include mobilization to the project and all equipment and labor necessary for the pulverizing operation and water injection with successful bidder supplied pad foot roller. Vernon County Highway will supply operators for pad foot roller. The General Contractor will deposit the existing milled asphalt material back onto the roadway. County forces will shape and compact the roadway. Please include price for the contractor to final grade product. Vernon County reserves the right to reject all bids, to accept whichever bid, or any portion of whichever bid the Highway Department deems to be in the best interest of Vernon County, and to waive any bidding technicality and/or irregularity. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
