Vernon County Highway Department will be receiving sealed bids for asphaltic resurfacing. Items to be bid in this contract are asphaltic material for tack coat, tons for asphaltic surface, lump sum traffic control, and mobilization. Each company bidding on asphaltic surface will have a source and bid for Bituminous Road Oil PG58-34S and a separate bid for Bituminous Road Oil PG58-34H submitted as a complete product. Approximately 17,000 tons of asphaltic surface including tack coat are to be bid for the designated location. The Vernon County Infrastructure Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or choose the one they deem most advantageous to the Vernon County Highway Department.
