Demolition, site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Viroqua, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel.
The proposed work consists of removing the old structure, performing excavation (common), placing base aggregate dense, asphaltic surface, heavy riprap, constructing structure B-62-996, installing beam guard, completing finishing items, handling traffic control, construction staking, and any incidental items necessary to complete the work. Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates apply for this project. Bids shall be prepared according to the bidder's documents prepared by Jewell Associates Engineers, Inc. Vernon County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities in any bid, and to accept any bid which Vernon County may determine to be in its best interest.
