Concrete for Vernon County Storage Facility Vernon County is requesting proposals for concrete to construct a building, following State of Wisconsin approved building plans already procured for a 50' x 100' building. Labor and equipment to complete the construction phase should be included, with Vernon County serving as the General Contractor for the entire project. The new Storage Facility will replace the current storage facility for County vehicles and equipment. Scope of Project includes: o Concrete floor, 5" thick, with 4,000psi rating, rebar, and 2" rigid foam underneath with perimeter grade beam. o Concrete to include a 10' x 100' apron. o 8 six-inch bollards to protect garage door openings. o 10' x 100' concrete apron in front of the building. o Three 5' x 5' concrete stoops, one in front of each service door per state plans. Optional: Cost of an 8' x 10' pad for a generator. General Instructions: The evaluation and selection of a consultant will be based on information submitted in the proposal, references, and supplemental information. Proposals must address each requirement in the RFP. Consultants may submit alternate or creative cost-saving alternatives if they meet the minimum requirements and scope. Consultants may submit more than one proposal, and each scope of work cost must be broken out separately. Submit one electronic and five written copies of the proposal.
