Vernon County comprises approximately 805 square miles and is home to 31,500 residents (2024 census) who reside in three cities, Hillsboro, Viroqua, and Westby, nine villages, and twenty-one towns. The selected contractor will be responsible for: (A) developing signage designs that align with the Countys branding, aesthetics, and regulatory requirements, including site-specific design recommendations, mockups, and material specifications, and collaborating with County staff for draft and final design reviews and location approvals prior to fabrication; (B) manufacturing signs according to approved specifications, ensuring all materials are durable, weather-resistant, and compliant with applicable codes, including ADA standards, and verifying site conditions at each exterior sign location to ensure compatibility with design intent; (C) providing professional installation at specified County buildings, which includes removal of any existing signage where required, and ensuring compliance with all safety and building regulations; (D) coordinating project management activities with County staff, including site visits, reviews, scheduling, and obtaining necessary approvals for exterior signage locations; (E) delivering final design proofs, fabrication plans, completed signage installation, and warranty/maintenance information.
