**As of July 11, 2025, the project was awarded to Laufenberg Electric, with an awarded amount of $90,205.86 .** Vernon County received funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Hazard Mitigation Grant Program to purchase and install emergency backup power generators at critical facilities in Vernon County. The Vernon County Buildings and Facilities Department is requesting proposals from qualified, licensed electricians (herein referred to as "Proposer") to purchase and install a new industrial diesel engine-driven generator at the Vernon County Erlandson Building, located at 318 Fairlane Drive, Viroqua, WI 54665. Vernon County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technicalities, and to award the contract to the Proposer who presents a proposal most advantageous to the County. Vernon County may reject any proposal not in compliance with all prescribed public contracting procedures and requirements and may reject all proposals upon finding that it is in the public interest to do so.
