The Vernon County Highway Department is accepting bids for 1/4” Quarry Granite Rock–Class A, dust free, with at least one side 100% fractured or equivalent. The required approximate quantities are 1,200 tons for Viroqua and 2,150 tons for Hillsboro. Bidders must provide prices for both delivered and picked up options. Vernon County reserves the right to reject all bids, to accept whichever bid, or any portion of whichever bid the Highway Department deems to be in its best interest, and to waive any bidding technicality and/or irregularity. Bid prices must remain firm through December 31, 2026.
