The project consists of the replacement of lead or galvanized service lines along various streets within the Villages of Blasdell and Hamburg, Erie County, New York. Bidders are required to furnish all labor, plant, tools, equipment, and specified materials or services necessary for this work. Bids must be received in sealed envelopes clearly marked for the project at the designated address. All bidders must obtain official contract documents through the specified vendor, and only official planholders are permitted to submit bids. Bidders are responsible for reviewing all specification sections and drawings. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid total. The Erie County Water Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept any bid deemed in the best interest of the Water Authority, even if the bid chosen is not the mathematically lowest.
