The scope of work includes the replacement of the boilers and pumps at Tewksbury Elementary School and HVAC upgrades at Old Turnpike School. The Contract Documents define the full project scope. Bids will be received for a lump sum price for the entire project, all trades, all inclusive. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in one of the following categories: (C008) General Construction, (C009) General Construction/Alterations/Additions, or (C032) HVACR. Bidders shall also either be prequalified for, or include documentation for prequalified subcontractors for, the following classifications: (C008) General Construction, (C009) General Construction/Alterations/Additions, (C029) Structural Steel and Ornamental Iron, (C030) Plumbing, (C032) HVACR, and (C047) Electrical. Subcontractors for asbestos removal/treatment and roofing membrane EPDM shall not be named in the bid. Bids that propose modifications to the requirements will be rejected as non-responsive. Bidders must comply with all regulations and submit various required documents, including prequalification certificates, affidavits, business registration certificates, and project workforce reports. Bid security and consent of surety are required. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor informalities or non-material exceptions.
