Site work for a power facility in Berkeley, California. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade power facility.

Design, furnish, and install the shoring and dewatering scopes for the Electrified Heating and Cooling Plant (EHCP) building and the thermal energy storage tank. The scope also includes furnishing and installing drilled concrete piers for the thermal energy storage tank. The project includes construction of an all-electric central heating and cooling plant to provide space for mechanical and electrical equipment that will distribute hot and chilled water to replace the existing co-generation natural gas steam plant. The system includes a thermal energy storage exterior steel tank with a capacity of 2 million gallons of water, located southeast of the building. The plant is one level, including program areas for facilities staff, a control room, and an open office area. The roof will function as a recreational field and provides at-grade egress on the north side due to the topography. Pre-qualification requirements: Bidders must be prequalified and have current, valid, and in good standing California Contractor’s License Classification(s) as required or other appropriate licenses approved by the California Contractor’s State License Board for the scope of work, and have current DIR registration. Questions about this Prequalification Due: February 27, 2026,3:00 PM Work Package Scope of Work WP-11- Design Build Shoring, Design Build Dewatering, Drilled Concrete Piers (CSLB A) $6,000,000. The Construction Estimate for this project is $159 million.
