Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Warren, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Furnish all labor and materials and perform all other work necessary and incidental to Fitzgerald High School Asbestos Abatement in accordance with published instructions, specifications, drawings, and other contract documents. Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting and walkthrough at the specified location. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes, using the bid forms from the specification package, and include two complete copies. Required documents include a sworn and notarized statement of familial relationships and a sworn and notarized Iran Economic Sanctions Act - Affidavit of Compliance. A certified check or bid bond equal to five percent of the total bid is required. For bids over $50,000, a Labor and Material Payment Bond and a Performance Bond are required. The project is subject to prevailing wage requirements. Bids must comply fully with the instructions, specifications, drawings, and other contract documents. Bid price must include all associated project costs. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after opening. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive formalities, evaluate bids on any basis, and consider alternate bids if the low bidder does not meet specifications or is unqualified. Bid documents are available after the pre-bid walkthrough.
