The City of Dieppe is requesting sealed tenders for work including, but not limited to: work on the Aquatic Centre domestic cold water supply system (removals, modifications, replacements, tie-ins, testing, commissioning) and renovation of three change rooms, including selective demolition, plumbing, finishes, coordination of trades, reinstatement, and final cleaning. The work consists of renovations to the Dieppe Aquatics Centre, including architectural improvements to the change rooms and a complete renewal of the domestic water piping system. The scope includes installation of new wall tile, renewal of shower partitions, replacement of countertops, renewal of epoxy flooring, installation of new casework, removal and reinstatement of drywall and ceilings as required, and installation of new access panels. Mechanical modifications involve renewal of the domestic cold water, domestic hot water, and domestic hot water recirculation piping systems, as well as renewal of shower plumbing and lavatory faucets. A $20,000 cash allowance must be carried by the general contractor for changes to casework and possible modifications to the lifeguard change room shower and replacement of existing plumbing fixtures if unsuitable for reuse.
